  • Required Technology:

1) A working computer or laptop is mandatory. Mobile phones and tablets are not permitted for attending the course.

2) Reliable high-speed internet connection must be available for the entire duration of every class session.

3) A functional webcam and microphone are required. Your camera must remain on at all times during instruction for attendance verification.

  • Identification Requirements:

1) Students must have a valid driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.

  • Class Hours & Schedule Options:

1) This is a 42-hour state-mandated course. You may choose one of the following formats:

2) Weekday Schedule: Monday through Thursday (4 consecutive days). Start Time: 7:30am - 6:00pm

3) Weekend Schedule: Two consecutive weekends (Saturday & Sunday) Start Time: 7:30am - 6:00pm

  • Attendance & Recording Notice:

1) This course is live instructor-led, and attendance is required for all 42 hours to receive your Certificate of Completion.

2) Classes may be recorded for quality assurance and compliance.

3) Students must remain visible on camera and actively participate to receive credit.

  • Final Examination:

1) At the end of the course, students must complete and pass a 170-question multiple-choice exam.

Work conditions?

What happens if I misplace my security guard license?

* If your security license has been lost, stolen or destroyed, you can obtain a replacement license by contacting the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer services.
